Where’s Your Head At, Mate?

Men's Health Education for the workplace

Every day in the UK, 1 in 5 men won’t live to 65, often due to preventable health conditions like heart disease, cancer and suicide. These aren’t just personal tragedies they’re workplace realities.

Poor men’s health is costing UK businesses billions through lost productivity, absence, recruitment turnover, and reduced performance.

  • Suicide is the leading cause of death for men under 50.

  • Men are 43% more likely to die from cancer and 75% of suicides are male.

  • 70 million working days are lost every year to mental health alone with a £45 billion impact on UK employers

And yet… many men are still suffering in silence. Stigma, shame, and a lack of health education mean they delay help, experience barriers to health care, and miss critical early warning signs.

But There’s Hope - and It Starts With Education

By educating men about their health, we empower them to:

  • Make informed lifestyle changes
  • Take action earlier
  • Build confidence to seek support
  • Live longer, healthier, more productive lives

That’s why we created the “Where’s Your Head At, Mate? And 4 Other Questions That Can Save A Life” session -  a short, fun, stigma-free experience that cuts through the fluff and starts life-saving conversations about the 5 biggest killers of working men.

For virtual delivery, we can accommodate up to 30 attendees per session. For face-to-face delivery, the maximum is 15 attendees to ensure quality interaction and engagement.

Each session is £650 plus vat. All delegates will leave with the "Where's Your Head at Mate?" tool. The Cancer and Heart Health Screening are optional add on investments.

It’s preferable for each attendee to join on their own computer for full interactivity. However, we can also deliver to a classroom virtually via a TV  provided the room is set up theatre style and each participant has their mobile phone to take part in the interactive activities.

Yes. We can co-design and brand signposting slides to your internal wellbeing resources and services. This is available for an additional admin fee.

Through our partner Klarity Health, every attendee can be provided with a link to take quick and easy digital health risk assessments for Prostate, Lung and Bowel cancers.

Alternatively or additionally they can also take the digital health assessment for Chronic Diseases including Heart Health.

They will then receive a personalised report and health plan with recommendations to encourage healthier lifestyle choices.

  • Employees can then choose to pay for their own targeted at-home and lab-based screening tests where high risks are identified.

  • Alternatively, your organisation could choose to cover the cost of the test as part of your offer.

This evidenced, risk-based approach takes learning beyond the classroom and into actionable health screening and planning – helping identify risks early, improve health outcomes, and save lives.

Note: The testing is £10 per person and an optional add on to the Where's Your Head at Mate session.
