A men’s health programme for real working men — built to save lives, cut absence, and spark culture change.

The Hidden Crisis in Men’s Health at Work

Men’s health issues are silently costing lives – and hurting businesses.

Men’s health is one of the biggest blind spots in UK workplaces. Most of the issues affecting men are preventable, but too many keep things to themselves until it’s too late. That silence shows up in absence, productivity, turnover and performance long before it shows up as a ‘health problem’.

  • 1 in 5 men in the UK won’t live to 65, often due to preventable illnesses.

  • 3 in 4 suicides are by men – suicide is the #1 cause of death for men under 50.

  • £53+ billion per year is the cost of poor mental health to UK businesses.

  • 40% of employers say male staff don’t speak up about health issues until it’s too late.

Too many men suffer in silence, whether from stress, depression or physical illness. The result? Lives cut short and a massive impact on productivity, safety, and costs at work. It’s time to act.

“After attending this session, I’m finally booking my prostate cancer check. It gave me the push I needed.”

BUT THERE’S HOPE - AND IT STARTS WITH REAL TALK, NOT POWERPOINTS

What men say about the training:

  • Science-backed, no-fluff learning - the real causes behind low mood, stress and men’s health issues.
  • Space to open up - even in tough environments, blokes felt safe to talk and support each other.
  • Confidence to act - tools and know-how to spot red flags and step in early.
  • The ALPHA Framework - a clear, memorable way to understand what keeps men well.
  • Relatable delivery - practical, visual, and zero preaching.

“The whole course was amazing and delivered with such care and clarity by Ryan.”
– Hitachi Rail Manbassador.
This isn’t just another workshop. It’s a session that gets men thinking, talking and taking action - often for the first time.
That’s why we created “Where’s Your Head At, Mate?” - a short, stigma-free session that tackles the 5 biggest killers of working men head-on.
When men understand their health, they take action sooner, support others better, and stay healthier for longer. That’s good for them, their families, and your workforce.

Through our partner Klarity Health, every attendee can be provided with a link to take quick and easy digital health risk assessments for Prostate, Lung and Bowel cancers.

Alternatively or additionally they can also take the digital health assessment for Chronic Diseases including Heart Health.

They will then receive a personalised report and health plan with recommendations to encourage healthier lifestyle choices.

  • Employees can then choose to pay for their own targeted at-home and lab-based screening tests where high risks are identified.

  • Alternatively, your organisation could choose to cover the cost of the test as part of your offer.

This evidenced, risk-based approach takes learning beyond the classroom and into actionable health screening and planning – helping identify risks early, improve health outcomes, and save lives.
